the longest leopard

the sun is setting and it's about to rain. time to stay in and have a glass of wine after a long day. this long chiffon leopard button up is one of my top favorite pieces and remember when i suggested wearing lacey slips tucked into skirts? here is another slip and another way to wear one! also, how much do you love purple nail polish with browns and blacks? i've never really been a fan of purple but i am loving it in small (but intentional) amounts.

Sienna Miller, British GQ Magazine September 2009

i am head over heels in love with these photographs, plus i've always loved sienna miller and what she wears, even her street style. this spread is breathtakingly beautiful and i want to wear all of the things photographed above. plus how kate moss-like/topshop is the 3rd image from the bottom?  here's the video i'm thinking of - the photographs of sienna look like a still from this topshop video. oh gosh we'll have to save my thoughts on kate moss for a later blog post . . . until then, keep on groovin' a little like this my sweets.

wouldn't mind going out to something like this soon, they are so happy. i want to be around my friends singing and smiling and hugging everyone over and over again. oh and i would be wearing something from topshop's ss 2011 collection while playing the tambourine. that would be so fresh. 

in the rich light of a morning

didn't have to work until later in the day today so this morning was spent on the front porch drinking coffee and eating a little english muffin. the morning is such a sweet time to be awake. one of my most favorite things to wear recently is this vintage lace slip i found at a second hand shop. its also perfect when you're looking for something to wear with a partially see through long skirt. plus the lace detail at the top of the slip is quite feminine and i love that. a great look for this summer. i honestly wouldn't mind thrifting more of these, i've worn this with so many long/mid-length skirt outfits. now i am off to do some reading! xo
