snapped a couple through the yard
on my way for coffee with a sweet friend i snapped a couple photographs of what i wore today. i wish i could layer the skirt with another long skirt or flared pants like the acne resort 2012 collection but its just too hot! i typically stay true to the comfort before fashion rule but today was a little different for some reason. not even a light neutral trench was bearable. perhaps tonight i'll pair the skirt with a nude long sleeve button up with purple lips for the night time, but for now i am off to buy some fresh vegetables to steam for dinner. kiss kiss!

can't stop won't stop loving / ACNE RESORT 2012
remember how i was just crushing on the colors pink & peppermint? well, ACNE has refined my taste after showing the resort 2012 collection with the burnt orange and teal with bursts of raspberry and yellow. you guys should go read this show's review on style.com, i love the "interrupted volume" concept and might have to start incorporating it into my personal wardrobe from now on. i absolutely love these colors, and i love the occasional use of black because after all, it really is such a bold color. i was given a hard time about using the color black in the summertime but ACNE proves it works. plus i was just contemplating whether or not i should dig out out my old American Apparel glasses but now it is a completely done deal. these girls look too chic. bravo!
