the shiver & shake
wearing another pair of new boots today. every girl needs a neutral pair of boots, you know? these are perfect. i bought them at a little second hand shop and they were worn-in to the perfect degree. not too stiff but not too raggedy-like. i also recently purchased these new cut off shorts from diesel. today was such a beautiful day, the sun was shining and it made me so happy. xoxo my sweets, happy tuesday!

olive you
today was such a good day. first thing is first, i bought not one but TWO pairs of shoes today! i really, just couldn't resist! i can not wait to pair them both with outfits that are just as darling as they are. my tote is also new, purchased from madewell! actually, i suppose now is as good of a time as any to announce (i have been dying to unleash the secret) that i am leaving visual merchandising at American Apparel & am on to Madewell! I am so excited to work with them, especially going into the fall. have you seen Madewell's fall 2011 showroom? it is to DIE for - you can actually peep it here if you haven't already. anyways, this olive tote is perfect for all of the things i need to carry around each day. maybe one day soon i will construct a post based on all of the things i can fit into my bag. it would be an interesting one to say the least! anyways, i'm off to styling WD TODAY- stay tuned! xo

the longest leopard
the sun is setting and it's about to rain. time to stay in and have a glass of wine after a long day. this long chiffon leopard button up is one of my top favorite pieces and remember when i suggested wearing lacey slips tucked into skirts? here is another slip and another way to wear one! also, how much do you love purple nail polish with browns and blacks? i've never really been a fan of purple but i am loving it in small (but intentional) amounts.

shake the shackles
this week has been so busy working and doing projects and staying motivated and planning and organizing for the future. plus the next few weeks aren't going to be any slower but i love that. everything is falling into place so beautifully and there is no better feeling than that. i've done a lot of thinking and rethinking and only keeping my eyes on what is wholesome and joyful. yes. i'm on one.

had the most beautiful time with my sweets today. lounged around this blue and golden saltwater pool and spent time just being a girl. these girls are the very first of the witch doctors. plus there were gardens all around and the flowers were fresh and blooming. jess' pup freckles was hanging and swimming with us and it was so darling. days like these are why i love the summer time. yes. so good. you've seen jess before from my vegas photo journal and kacey before from her NEON outfit that was so on point. kiss kiss & girl power!
